Our Curriculum |
We immerse ourselves in our exciting book themed topics. We use the childrens interests to inspire our planning developing a love and enthusiasm through adult led and child-initiated learning. At Lache Primary School Early Years department we take great pride in including our children in planning their own individual and group learning opportunities.
During their time in Early Years at Lache Primary School your child will be learning through Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework. The framework explains how your child will be learning to support their development through providing:
- Quality and consisency so that each child makes good progress and no child gets left behind
- A secure foundation through planning for the development of each individual child, and assessing and reviewing what they have learnt regulary
- Partnership working between practitioners and with parents and carers
- Equality of opportunity and anti-discriminatory practice, ensuring that every child is included and supported
The EYFS Framework sets out the seven areas of learning and development that must shape the educational programmes in Early Years settings. All areas of learning and development are important and inter-connected
